A variety of formats are planned that will encourage the exchange of new scientific and clinical information and support an interchange of opinions regarding care and management issues, as well as socioeconomic, ethical, and regulatory issues relevant to organ and tissue transplantation in children.
- Highlight the most recent advances in clinical and basic sciences related to pediatric transplantation.
- Provide a forum for exchange of new scientific and clinical information relevant to pediatric solid organ and tissue transplantation.
- Create an arena for the interchange of ideas regarding care and management of pediatric organ and tissue transplant recipients.
- Facilitate discussions of the socioeconomic, ethical and regulatory issues related to pediatric solid organ and tissue transplantation.
Scientific material will be presented through symposia, oral abstracts; small group sessions designed for in-depth exploration of both clinical and basic science topics, and poster presentations.
Who Should Attend
This meeting is designed for physicians, surgeons, and transplant professionals* who are interested in the clinical and research aspects for pediatric solid organ, tissue, and bone marrow/stem cell transplantation. * Transplant Professionals include any non-physician involved in transplantation such as nurses, coordinators, organ procurement personnel, psychosocial, lab techs, research assistants and pharmacists.
