Transportation
Round-trip ground transportation services between the Gran Meliá Cancún and the Cancun International Airport are available through Maritur. Arrange your ground transfers in advance to ensure a quick and easy departure from the airport and hotel. The cost of round-trip shared van service is $20 USD per person. Once you depart the airport, a Maritur representative will be outside the exit doors holding a sign stating: IPTA & CST. The fee includes airport skycaps on arrival/departure, and coordination of all movement of luggage between airport and hotel. You can recognize Maritur representatives by their uniform of a red shirt, beige pants and golden name badge.

Transportation Terms and Conditions
- Please make your reservations AT LEAST 10 days before your arrival date.
- Children using a seat pay the regular fee.
- Up to two pieces of luggage are included in the fare. Additional baggage is billed $1.00 USD per piece.
- Payments made by check should be mailed to Maritur (see address on transportation form) at least 10 days in advance of service. Payments made by credit card will incur an additional service charge of 6% for American Express payments, and 4% for payments made by MasterCard or Visa.
- Private van transfers are available for $79.00 USD per person, ONE WAY, minimum two participants, maximum four.
The above service is recommended. Please note: van service is available without advance reservations through airport services upon arrival. A desk is located to the right of the airport exit doors. This service is $11 USD one way (at the time of printing). Wait time to fill a van is not known at the time of arrival or embankment. Return service is not available. Return taxi service to the airport is at least $23 USD.
