Swarovski Crystal Worlds - A bus takes us to the Swarovski Crystal Worlds. Through the huge water-spouting head of a botanic giant the visitor enters the mostly subterranean, unique magic World of Crystal (idea and artistic supervision by André Heller, the famous Austrian performance artist). You have to experience yourself what is hard to describe: a view of the surreal landscape of a glittering galaxy, the inside of a gigantic crystal dome with changing patterns of light and sound, bizarre scenarios - a world of magic. Duration: approx. 4 hours
Alpine Fauna – Walk to the Alpine Zoo - Starting at Congress Innsbruck we go for a 30 min walk to the Alpine Zoo. The zoo is located on a sunny-facing slope of the Nordkette Mountains and offers magnificent views of the city. The zoo itself, with its fine grounds and attractive quarters for the birds, bears, lynxes, reptiles and other animals, is a unique collection. Visitors have the opportunity to see 150 different species and more than 2,000 animals. Duration: approx. 3 hours
Summer on the Stubai Glacier - In summer, the Stubai glacier presents a different side with both hikers and skiers enjoying its beauties. After a drive through the picturesque Stubai valley to the Stubai Glacier we take a gondola to the glacier, situated at a height of 3,000m. If the weather is fine we will embark on a 45 min walk to the “Eisgrat” (ice ridge). The spectacular view from up there is truly unforgettable. Please note: It is advisable to take sturdy shoes and a warm sweater with you. Duration: approx. 5 hours
Guided Hiking Tour on the “Zirbenweg” - Departure from Innsbruck by coach to the winter and summer sports resort 5km from Innsbruck. A cable car takes you up to the Patscherkofl Mountain (2.000 m above sea level). From up there you enjoy a marvellous view of the Inn valley below and our guide will take you on a hiking tour through the most beautiful stone pine forest in the Alps to the “Tulfeiner Alm” mountain hut, where you will be offered a typical Tyrolean schnapps and snack. Walking time is approx. 2. 5 hours. The hike is suitable for children from the age of 8 and for adults of any age. Equipment: Hiking shoes or sturdy shoes (can also be borrowed on site free of charge), sweater, rain coat, sun glasses.
Churches and Monasteries in the Tyrol - This tour first takes us to Volders, 14 km away from Innsbruck, a village embedded in meadows, forests and mountains of the lower Inn valley. In Volders we will have a closer look at the Karlskirche – Church of Charles - which was built in 1650 in honour of Saint Bartholomew. The mosaics depict the founding of the church. Back to the Middle Ages we will visit Tratzberg Castle. It is still inhabited by count Enzenberg. The original furniture from the 15th and 16th centuries is displayed. In the Restaurant of the Benedictine monastery in Fiecht we will have our Lunch in a very special atmosphere.
Medieval Cities and Castles in South Tyrol - Our tour will take us over the Europe Bridge (altitude 190m) and across the Brenner Pass. At the point where the Eisack and the Rienz rivers converge, lies the town of Brixen, more than 1000 years old, with its panoply of ancient lanes and houses, arcades and bridges. There are also churches, the cathedral, the cloister, with its unique Gothic frescos. The architecture of the landscape is determined by vineyards and fruit orchards. Duration: 8 hours (passport, Visa)
Candle Light Dinner and Concert in a Romantic Medieval Castle - The venue of this unforgettable evening at the famous Tratzberg Castle. Situated about 25 km to the east of Innsbruck, this 12th century medieval castle sits on the hillside near the city of Jenbach. Remodelled in Renaissance style it has splendid interiors and coeval furnishings from the 16th and 17th centuries. You will be delighted by the beautiful courtyard richly decorated with Renaissance paintings, the ideal setting for a romantic concert, a real treat for your ears. Afterwards we want to spoil you with a candle light dinner in the hunters’ hall and the Habsburg hall, which is adorned with the Austrian rulers’ family tree.
